🃏 Teen Patti Hand Rankings — Complete Guide

Learn all six hand types from highest (Trail) to lowest (High Card), with examples, probabilities, and strategy tips.

#1

Trail / Trio / Set

A♠ A♥ A♦

Three cards of the same rank. A-A-A is the highest, 2-2-2 is the lowest.

Probability: 0.24% 💡 If you get a Trail, play aggressively. It is extremely rare and powerful.
#2

Pure Sequence / Straight Flush

A♥ 2♥ 3♥

Three consecutive cards of the same suit. A-2-3 of the same suit is the highest.

Probability: 0.22% 💡 Almost as rare as a Trail. Raise confidently.
#3

Sequence / Straight / Run

K♠ Q♥ J♦

Three consecutive cards of different suits.

Probability: 3.26% 💡 A solid hand. Play seen and raise in most situations.
#4

Color / Flush

A♣ K♣ J♣

Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence. Compared by highest card.

Probability: 4.96% 💡 Good hand but can be beaten. Watch for opponents playing aggressively.
#5

Pair

A♠ A♥ K♦

Two cards of the same rank. A-A-K is the highest pair, 2-2-3 is the lowest.

Probability: 16.94% 💡 Decent hand. High pairs (A, K, Q) are worth playing; low pairs are risky.
#6

High Card

A♠ K♥ J♦

None of the above. Ranked by the highest card, then second, then third.

Probability: 74.39% 💡 Most common hand. A-K-J of mixed suits is the best High Card.

Important Rules

Tie-Breaking: When two players have the same hand type, the hand with the higher cards wins. For example, K-K-Q beats J-J-A for pairs because Kings beat Jacks.

Special: A-2-3 is the highest sequence in Teen Patti (not A-K-Q). This applies to both Sequence and Pure Sequence.

Same Rank: If all cards are exactly equal, the pot is split evenly.
